Loctite Polyseamseal Tub & Tile is formulated for sealing projects in kitchens & bathrooms. Polyseamseal Tub & Tile all-purpose caulk is easy to apply and tool and the cured product is weather-resistant, mold and mildew resistant, and paintable in 40 minutes. Possesses both bonding and sealing capabilities, mold and mildew resistant seal, scrub resistant, watertight, paintable, easy to use, and water clean up. Resists color change and abrasion to harsh chemical cleaners.
This easy to use acrylic based sealant remains flexible and watertight to provide durability and longevity. Recommended for sealing around bathtubs, sinks, shower stalls, tiles, and backsplashes. Excellent adhesion to ceramic, porcelain, glass, fiberglass composites, enamel, aluminum, stainless steel, wood, many plastics, and wallboard. For best results: apply and store at temperatures between 40 degree F (5 degree C) and 100 degree F (38 degree C). Not suitable for continuous water immersion - under shower door tracks, below water line, on mirrors, in aquariums, or on 2 non-porous surfaces. Not for use in butt joints, architectural joints, joints subject to heavy abrasion, wear or tuck pointing. Maximum joint depth is 1/4 In. (6.3 mm) and joint width is 1/2 In. (12.7 mm). Wait 24 to 48 Hr. before water exposure after sealant application. Shelf life - 18 Mo. from manufacture date. Coverage: 5.5 Oz. - 16.9 Ft. at 1/4 In. bead, 7.5 Ft. at 3/8 In. bead. 10 Oz. - 30.6 Ft. at 1/4 In. bead, 13.8 Ft. at 3/8 In. bead.
